Fat Loss Regimen - The Calorie Shifting Diet

A new fat loss regimen has been recently developed known as the calorie shifting diet. Unlike traditional reduction diets, where you must reduce your intake of calories, carbohydrates, or fats, a calorie shifting diet focuses more on the proper rotation, or shifting of the type of calories you consume from meal to meal on a daily basis.

By shifting the type of calories you eat from meal to meal, and grouping them together in a specific manner, you can induce rapid weight loss on the Calorie Shifting fat loss regimen. What is happening is that you are triggering a metabolic response from your body that responds to the specific lack or presence of various nutrients that it needs.

All the while, you are able to eat food from all four food groups, you are able to eat as much as you want until you are satisfied, and you don't even have to exercise. You can expect to lose as much as 9 pounds in 11 days. After the 11th day, you are required to take a 3-day break from the diet before resuming it again for another 11 day cycle. These 3 days are required in order to give your body a break from the rapid weight loss, and also to prevent your metabolism from getting "accustomed" to the new fat loss regimen and thinking that it is "normal".

Our body's metabolism has a tendency to adapt to changes in our diet. Once it adapts, it is able to regulate the rate at which it consumes food and therefore provides resistance against weight loss. It is because of this "shock treatment" - this constant rotation of calories, that your body perceives that it must tap into its fat reserves and burn calories from there, even though you are eating plentiful food and you are eating from every food group!

Can you really lose 9 pounds every 11 days on the Calorie Shifting diet?
