18 No Diet Weight Loss Tips

If you reduce your daily calorie intake by 500 calories every day, this adds up to roughly one pound of weight lost per week. Here are 18 ways to lose weight without going on a diet using these no diet weight loss tips.

1. By eating one whole orange in the morning instead of consuming orange juice, you'll eliminate about 45-50 calories.

2. If you're into omelets, try a 4 egg white omelet, yolk free, with some egg substitute liquid. And go with Canadian bacon instead of regular bacon to reduce calorie count even more.

3. Drink non-fat, low-fat or skim milk. Try to cut out sugar where you can, or if necessary, use a substitute.

4. Did you know that mustard and mayo contain roughly 100 calories per tablespoon? If you can, try a low-fat spread instead. Oh no, forget the cheese and save another 100 calories.

5. Fast-food... OK. cut it out all together if you can, if not, reduce your portions or go with chicken breast sandwiches with veggie trimmings.

6. Consume healthy snacks such as celery or carrot sticks with low-fat dip instead of chips or pastries. Even try an apple, pear, plum, mango or peach. There are lots of healthy substitutes available.

7. Discard the pop and fizzy drinks. Water, vitamin water and other healthy drinks are available to cut even more calories.

8. Consume 4-5 small meals a day in place of 3 large ones. You won't get hungry and cheat with junk. Never skip breakfast! More small meals allows you to enlarge your variety and options.

9. Are you nuts about nuts? Eat nuts, fresh and dried fruits, veggies and yogurt. It's all good for you.

10. Don't eat food items made with white flour, use whole wheat instead for breads, pastas, rice and baking. This will eliminate more of the harmful fat and calories you don't need. Furthermore, it's a proven fact that whole wheat grains reduce the risk of colon cancer by increasing fiber intake.)

11. Prepare your meat, chicken and soups in veggie broth, not butter. And butter as a topper for baked potatoes or cooked veggies can be replaced with sour cream or other non fat sauces or spreads.

12. Oh, I love my Caesar Salad, but instead of it, try a nice spinach salad without egg or bacon, but with diced chicken breast, strawberries and a small amount of goat cheese. Don't forget to top it off pumpkin or sunflower seeds though.

13. Want to save 500 more calories? Try whole wheat spaghetti with homemade sauce using lean beef and marinara sauce in place of fettuccine with Alfredo.

14. Again, eliminate the pop and even alcohol at home or when going out. I am a dedicated user of tonic water when I drink my juices.

15. When eating out, huge servings are usually the norm, especially when it comes to Chinese food, so, split the meal, or save it for tomorrow.

16. Exercising. I like to call this activity (easy at home exercising). Do one physical chore at home daily. For me, it beats going to the gym any day and it's cost free and productive. Take short walks. Walk or bicycle to nearby places instead of driving.

17. If you really want to get going, during your lunch break, take a short walk or if you can go to a golf ball driving range.

18. The ultimate fun, healthy and rewarding exercises you can do to trim and tone your body is... Swimming. So get a swim pass and start swimming.

So there you have it. A strict diet is by no means a must if you want to lose weight. There are obviously better and more enjoyable ways to shed those pounds and cut down on your daily calorie intake.

Follow the program you are on if any, get lots of sleep, drink lots of water, eat healthy foods and start a non aggressive exercise program, and you'll be rewarded with good health and a toned body by using these 18 No Diet Weight Loss Tips.
